Dear 5th Grade Parents,
At the end of 5th grade, students at Biloxi Upper are given the opportunity to select their specials for 6th grade. One of the options available is Band. Now is your child's opportunity to explore what the Biloxi Band Programs have to offer.

The Biloxi Band program is the largest organization in the Biloxi Public school district! We currently have over 500 members in our band programs (6-12).

Our Program and students are extremely successful and competitive on the local, state, and national levels.

Every year our band students earn thousands of dollars in music scholarships at colleges and universities across the country! We know that our Biloxi band students are some of the best students out there and graduate level institutions recognize that. Our students not only excel on the stage, but off the stage in their academic classrooms, as well as in life.
Here in Biloxi, music education is more than just playing an instrument. We immerse your child in a culture of successful students and teachers who care about them and their education. We challenge each child to develop organizational skills, grow leadership traits, and nurture creativity, while at the same time, learning a foreign language…MUSIC.
Every destination starts with a decision to embark on a journey. Now is the time to start your child in music and the Biloxi Band Program is the place to do it. We can’t promise that every child will be a musical prodigy, but we can promise they will learn, laugh, and grow along the way.

Biloxi Public Schools Free Summer Meals June 2nd- July 3rdat Back Bay Elementary, Biloxi Upper Elementary, Gorenflo Elementary, and Biloxi Junior High. Breakfast is from 8:15-9:15 and Lunch 11-12:30 for children 18 and under.
